Forging Capabilities
With forging presses from 700 to 1,000 tons, even the most significant projects are no problem, and instrument-controlled gas-fired furnaces and induction heating ensure product consistency and dimensional quality. Haven Steel also can forge a broad range of bar sizes and has the capabilities for hot punching, piercing, shearing, trimming, and heat-treating.

Haven Steel's state-of-the-art powder coating process ensures each part receives an attractive, durable, and long-lasting finish.
The Powder Coating Process
After processing, parts enter an automated and environmentally-friendly powder coating line, including eight automatic guns and two manual stations. Operating as a monorail, pieces are moved into an infrared oven after receiving a coat of paint. The parts then enter a convection oven and finally a cooling chamber to set the finish.

Haven Steel uses certified calibration companies to verify and maintain all heat-treating and hardness-testing equipment, and weekly calibration tests are performed to ensure heat treatment is always correct.

With more than 40 years of experience, Haven Steel is well-suited to produce a majority of steel components requiring a hot-form operation. Our company boasts the latest heating technology and forming equipment as a fabricator of heat-treated spring steel component parts for the agricultural, railroad, and recreational furniture industries.
Hot Forming Capabilities
Haven Steel has instrument-controlled, gas-fired furnaces and two induction heating systems, and three continuous-process heat treat lines if hot form and heat treatment are required. Hot forge, hot and cold punch, and hot trim services are also available. Equipment options range from 700 to 1,000-ton forging presses, 80 to 215-ton punch presses, and hydraulic forming presses ranging from 20 to 150 tons.
